An engineering
graduate from École Supérieure de Chimie (chemistry school) in Lyon,
a Doctor in physical sciences and a graduate in strategic marketing from Stanford
University (USA), Jean Mounet held several positions at Bull before becoming Corporate
Vice President Marketing.
Jean Mounet has been COO and
a Management Board member of Sopra Group since 1988. He also chairs the Asian
and American subsidiaries of Axway (Sopra Group's EAI subsidiary). Sopra Group
employs more than 7,400 people worldwide.
Jean Mounet is
Chairman of Syntec Informatique, a federation of software developers and publishers
which represents 80% of industry sales.
Jean Mounet is
a Knight in the National Order of Merit.
